Luke 15 House relies on the generosity of donors to help us transform the lives of addicted men in Vancouver. As the addiction crisis grows in our city, more men are seeking our help.
This is what we use donations for:
$60 Provides food and shelter for a day
$75 Provides program material for a new intake
$125 Gives a session of counselling to one - person
$175 Buys basic clothing for 1 man coming off the street
$250 Buys hygiene products for 25 residents
$450 Ensures a one week stay for a resident
$750 Provides a special holiday meal for 25 residents
$1800 Secures a one month stay for 1 resident
Any donation can be applied to our “Welcome Home “ Capital Campaign, to expand our services.

Donate Shares
Luke 15 House is accepting donations of shares. Consider making a gift of publicly traded securities to Luke 15 House today. Securities include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and certificates of deposits. This is the most cost-effective way of giving, as you will receive a charitable tax receipt of the fully appreciated fair market value of the donation at the closing day of the transfer, without paying tax on the capital gains. You can also donate stocks through your will and receive tax savings for your estate, allowing more assets to go to your beneficiaries. An account at our bank has been set up for this purpose both in Canadian and US funds. If you would like to gift shares, please let Nigel Vincent know, and our bank will write to you to make the transfer. We recommend you consult a professional financial advisor when considering gifts of securities.
Luke 15 House is partnering with Donate a Car Canada to accept your car donation! You will be provided free towing, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Luke 15 House through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or re-sold (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Luke 15 to benefit. You will receive a tax receipt after your car donation has been processed!
