Luke 15 House

I am a Bachelor of Arts, Major in Psychology degree holder in the Philippines and a graduate diploma in Social Services (Worker), specialized in Youth and Recovery from Vancouver Career College.

I had my practicum at Luke15house way back then, which honed and prepared me for my first position as Program Coordinator. Part of my duties and responsibilities was to facilitate engaging group activities, where we ensured to provide a safe, judgement-free and accepting space where our clients could feel comfortable talking about their struggles and at the same time get support from their peers. I also scheduled appointments, assisted with applications, monitored the clients doing their everyday chores and helped with any issues encountered in the house.

Today, I am fulfilling the role of Executive Assistant, helping Nigel Vincent, the Director, in running the office of Luke 15 House.

I am grateful to be part of this organization which plays a vital role in the society, helping individuals, families and groups of people to cope with their battles and help improve their lives, which I feel is a very rewarding career.
