When I was approached to be on the board, I felt I could contribute to the “corporate” side of Luke 15 House because I have been involved with my family business for over 35 years. On the “personal” side, addiction has also touched my life. As a child, my first awareness was with my Grandfather’s and my Uncle’s alcoholism. This brought profound heartache to their families. My son, who struggled with bipolar illness, lost his life due to the opioid crisis. I am honoured to be associated with Luke 15 House. I believe Luke 15 is a blessing for our residents, and I’m proud that we have a highly successful program affecting the Lower Mainland community at large.
